Don’t try to silence her: The Walking Dead star Cassidy McClincy is taking over the show’s Instagram account ahead of tonight’s all-new episode.
As Lydia, Cassidy McClincy is trying to figure out where she fits in the world of The Walking Dead. But outside of the zombie apocalypse, McClincy is one of the nicest people on the planet and the TWD Family is lucky to have her around. In fact, not only will she appear on Talking Dead following “Silence the Whisperers” but she will also be taking over The Walking Dead Instagram account today!
Everyone who meets McClincy says the same thing: This talented actress is one of the friendliest, nicest people you will ever meet. She delivers a stunning performance in “Silence the Whisperers” that will remain in fan memories for a long time to come.

The Walking Dead Universe has been very fortunate to feature so many talented young actors. From Chandler Riggs, Katelyn Nacon and Cailey Fleming on The Walking Dead to Alexa Nisenson and Cooper Dodson on Fear the Walking Dead, and so many actors in between, there is no end to the talent fans have seen from these young actors in the zombie apocalypse. In some cases it’s a family affair with the Lintz siblings of Mackenzie, Macsen and Matt (aka Sophia, Young Henry and Older Henry), and even Cooper’s older brother Major as Sam. These youngsters (many of whom are much older now) have delivered incredible performances over the years and soon there will be a whole new group of young actors when TWD3 premieres in 2020.
McClincy is certainly no exception. From the moment that Lydia appeared on the show, there was never a question as to McClincy’s ability as an actress and the potential to grow this character so much. Fans will see a lot of that growth in “Silence the Whisperers.”
