Now that we know where everyone in season 10 of The Walking Dead, “Silence the Whisperers” reveals new stories and new threats. Here’s your recap.

This week’s episode of The Walking Dead begins with a song. The song is “Heaven I Know” by Gordi. As the music plays (and it’s very reminiscent of a song you’d hear on a show like Grey’s Anatomy) Daryl comes into the dining room to see Michonne, Judith and RJ enjoying a meal together. He sits down, smiling, but then he sees the empty chair. Soon he’s taking a tray of food to Carol’s room upstairs but she doesn’t answer the door when he knocks.

The music is still playing as Siddiq runs down the stairs of his house and steps out into the fresh air. Across the courtyard he spots Lydia walking around. She offers him a smile, and he turns around and runs off again, leaving her frowning and alone.

We see Carol as she wraps a pink bandage around her arm. She pauses for a moment before going to the door to fetch the tray that Daryl left her.

Next we see Magna and Yumiko. They’re about to have a very intimate moment together, with Magna pulling off her shirt before pulling off Yumiko’s shirt. Later, Magna looks out the window at the morning sun before looking back at Yumiko’s sleeping form.

Outside, Ezekiel paces around. Soon he’s in bed, but he can’t sleep. A noise rouses him from his bed and he races outside in time to see a massive tree fall from outside the walls, crashing down inside the fence. It crushes the buildings beneath it and people inside are screaming for help.

Cue the credits, here we go!
