One character went above and beyond in season 10 episode 4 of The Walking Dead titled “Silence the Whisperers” to be named the MVP.

Quite a bit was going on during season 10 episode 4 of The Walking Dead. Not only was the threat of the Whisperers looming but walkers became a major problem for the people of the Hilltop while other problems were emerging at Alexandria.

Many great characters were included in this week’s episode titled “Silence the Whisperers” and some of them were in situations they had never been in before. Walkers were fought, human blood was spilled, and feelings were shared.

However, throughout it all, there was one individual who went above and beyond during episode 1004 of The Walking Dead to be called the Most Valuable Person. After a lot of consideration, a decision was made.

The MVP is MICHONNE!

There were some great choices for the award this week, making the decision to choose just one individual very tough. However, it was the way Michonne handled her affairs with others that gave her the award.

From the beginning of the episode, Michonne spoke with Judith openly and honestly about the Whisperers. She didn’t sugar-coat what was going on with Alpha’s group and it opened up a lot more understanding about what the group was dealing with. Conversations like these make Michonne and Judith even closer and put them on the same page if they were to head into conflict. Later on, she kept Judith by her side when making a supply run to Oceanside, giving another opportunity for them to bond and work together.

But it wasn’t just her relationship with Judith that was impressive. She was able to spend some time with Ezekiel and convince him that feeling a strong emotional pain is okay. Her words reminded him of his strength and convinced him to return to the Hilltop to be with his people and those who still need him. Sure, there was an awkward kiss in there, but two lonely people in pain sharing a moment isn’t a bad thing, especially since the two seem to have no interest in continuing it.

Michonne also allowed her power in Alexandria to be given to Daryl, who used her proxy vote to save Negan’s life for the time being. Gabriel took the tied vote and asked others to reconsider their opinion while he slept on the fate of the former leader of the Saviors.

Finally, Michonne also pushed forward to keep things as normal as possible. Her trip to bring supplies to Oceanside helped to keep the status quo as well as raise morale, which is something important at a time when there is a lot of chaos around.

RUNNER UP: Yumiko – When Ezekiel couldn’t pull himself together enough to be a leader, Yumiko stepped up. She made decisions after the tree crushed the wall and the stables that were tough, such as expanding the medical area and distributing duties to the residents. She joined the front line to take out walkers with her group. Plus, fans learned she used to be Magna’s lawyer, meaning their connection goes far beyond the zombie apocalypse.
