The bad things

  1. An introduction with hope…but then danger. It’s nice to see people living mostly normal lives in the zombie apocalypse but a tree crashing through their fence leaves the Hilltop vulnerable Is this an accident? Is it the actions of the Whisperers? Only time may tell.
  2. Treating a newbie poorly. Gage taunting Lydia with a mask because she used to be a member of the Whisperers isn’t good. It’s understandable that they’re frustrated and upset with Alpha and her people, but taking it out on someone who no longer wants to live that way is extremely uncool.
  3. When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside. The giant tree that crushed the stable drew a lot of walkers to the area. and hurt several people. IT made a lot of work for the community to not only defend and recover from but also rebuild and reinforce. The even worse news is that the horde got inside the walls.
  4. Not good for Negan. After another big step in proving himself to the people of Alexandria, killing Margo on accident while trying to help Lydia puts him right back in the doghouse, or even worse, going forward. While his intentions were good, the results were a worst-case scenario for him.
  5. The great escape. Negan getting out of his cell and leaving while Alexandria contemplated his fate makes sense, but it’s not right. However, when being faced with death or a solitary life, the latter does sound pretty good. Lydia tried to take responsibility for it and take his place, but Daryl couldn’t talk her out of it.
