WTF moments from The Walking Dead episode 1004

5. Timber!

This episode starts with a bang! Literally, a huge bang of Kingtop being compromised by a huge tree through their fortified walls. Some are paralyzed in fear, others jump into action immediately but there is no question that everyone is stunned by what just happened. People are injured, and this is a massive issue.

The survivors are already dealing with the huge issue of being swarmed by walkers and being overcome with paranoia, and this just makes matters even worse. Being engulfed in walkers is one thing if you have people to combat them and walls to keep everything safe.

Taking away even one of those elements can be detrimental and with paranoia added into the mix, this could go in a far worse direction. Fans saw that as soon as any conversation could be had about what was happening that whisperers were immediately blamed. Again while it could be, no other options were even considered.

So not only do we have this major breach, but another could go unseen because our people are not considering any other option. What if this tree falling was nature taking its course and this happens again? I hope paranoia doesn’t fully take over and they consider other possibilities, otherwise, this war could end before it even begins with the survivors being their own demise.

The last reason why this secures a place on the WTF list is that we only have 2 communities left. With the Kingdom in its uninhabitable state, it is hard to even consider that Alexandria might be left standing alone during such an important time.
