The Walking Dead, Silence The Whisperers: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
War does terrible things to people. In this week’s The Walking Dead, we saw just how the war affects everyone. To find out how, check out my Things To Note!
IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!
On last Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead, we got a window into how everyone is reacting to the war with the Whisperers…and it’s not too good.
With everyone starting to think everything that goes wrong was the work of the Whisperers, paranoia was running rampant, and, to quote Yoda: “Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate…leads to suffering.”
…And, the person who suffered most from this paranoia was Lydia. Between Gage, and the remaining Highwaymen, Lydia seemed to be catching a lot of flak for the actions (Both real and assumed) of her mother.
Meanwhile, at Hilltop, one new resident in particular seemed to be having a hard time dealing with he and his former communities’ situation: King Ezekiel. Feeling like he failed everyone, and feeling increasingly cut off from Carol, Ezekiel contemplated taking his own life.
So, to say people haven’t been dealing too well with this whole “Whisperer War” is…something of an understatement.
But, that’s not what we’re here for today! Today, we’re here for all those things that you might not have noticed or realized the first time through: All the references, trivia, and details. Did you overlook some of them while focusing on all the other things I mentioned? Don’t worry, I got you covered.
Are you ready? It’s time for this week’s installment of The Walking Dead: Things To Note!
