It’s The Walking Dead, so blood will be shed in each and every episode. Which characters didn’t make it out alive during season 10 episode 6, “Bonds,” on November 10, 2019?

The first half of season 10 of The Walking Dead has been uncharacteristically low on significant deaths. Sure, the past few episodes have seen us lose minor characters like Brandon (Blaine Kern III) and Margo (Jerri Tubbs), but none of the passings have been of much note in the grand scheme of the show.

Episode 6, “Bonds,” continued that trend, as no important characters perished by the time the credits rolled. While this may seem frustrating after 9 seasons of death around every corner, the storytelling so far has been fast-paced and intriguing enough to warrant the few deaths this far into the season.

Below is the full list of deaths seen in season 10 episode 6 of The Walking Dead , “Bonds”:

  • A handful of walkers
  • A wild boar
  • An unnamed Whisperer

The Whisperers suffered a single loss in episode 6, as Beta (Ryan Hurst) stabbed one of his own men in an attempt to get Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed by the horde following the group. His plan was ultimately unsuccessful, as the former Savior managed to escape against seemingly insurmountable odds. It’s worth noting that the Whisperer Beta stabbed seemed to be the same one that offered Negan some of his food after Beta denied him any.

Outside of that kill, the Whisperer ranks remained the same, although Beta may feel even more dead inside than usual after listening to Negan and his nonstop inappropriate quips all episode.

During his trial run with the Whisperers, Negan stabbed a boar way more times than needed when directed by another Whisperer, but outside of that no other creatures were killed.

As for zombie kills, Daryl (Norman Reedus) gutted a walker in order to keep himself hidden from the horde of walkers closing in on him in the woods while Carol (Melissa McBride) snuck off to capture a Whisperer. Negan also joined in on the undead killing when forced to escape a small group set upon him by Beta. It is unclear how many walkers he ended up taking out to get away, but it is likely a significant amount.

While there were not too many deaths in this episode, things don’t look good for the coming episodes, as Alexandria has been hit by sickness likely caused by a contaminated water supply thanks to Gamma (Thora Birch) and the Whisperers. With a bunch of community members sick – some of them elderly – it’s possible that the stomach illness could turn deadly sooner rather than later.
