6) Who were Brandon’s parents? Obviously, they were Saviors, but…were they ones we’ve met before?

7) Negan’s response to Brandon asking him if he shot Carl is a great window into how much, even after all this time, Negan cares about Carl. On the flip side, it’s also a frightening window in Brandon, who seems awed, not so much by Negan’s leadership, but, his brutality (Be it real or imaginary).

8) In trying to ensure his loyalty, Brandon is the first to use the Saviors’ old mantra “I’m/we’re/we’re all Negan” since at least the Season Nine premiere, “A New Beginning”, when Michonne spotted “We are still Negan” graffiti scrawled on a wall inside the Sanctuary.

9) Gamma poisoning the river with walker guts is the first use of biological warfare we’ve seen in The Walking Dead since Negan introduced it with tainted weapons in Season 8’s “Dead Or Alive Or”.

10) The story Daryl recounts to Connie about fishing with a drunken Merle is the first we’ve heard him mention his brother since “A New Beginning”.
