The Walking Dead, What It Always Is: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
16) While discussing Alpha’s strategy, one Whisperer suggests unleashing the entire horde against the communities all at once “Instead of these little nicks, getting our guardians killed at their walls”. This suggests that, despite her claims to the contrary, the waves of walkers attacking Alexandria and Hilltop are sent by the Whisperers.
17) While punishing the nameless Whisperer for questioning her strategy, Alpha says that, once the communities start to collapse, “The smart ones will know where to come to stay safe”. Is she thinking about Lydia?
18) Milo is the fourth child/teen that Negan has counseled, showing, once again, his propensity for dealing with children.
19) When Gamma dumps the luckless Whisperer onto the dam in the creek, she starts angrily stabbing his back, so much so that she ends up cutting her hand. Why is she so angry? Is Gamma more bothered by Frances’ death than she lets on?
20) When Aaron tries to get through to Gamma, he reveals that he’s from Vermont. This is the first we’ve ever heard of Aaron’s home state, and, it also makes him the first Vermonter we’ve met in The Walking Dead universe, so far as we know.
