Carol and Daryl, Beta and Negan, Eugene and his new friend! It’s all there in this week’s episode of The Walking Dead. Here’s your recap of “Bonds.”

This week’s episode of The Walking Dead begins with Carol waking up in her bed. She looks around the room and gets ready, washing her face and putting on her belt and boots before brewing coffee. She loads up her gear, including her bow and arrow, but then she hesitates before grabbing the gun.

Daryl is on his porch with Dog when he sees Carol getting food. When she steps outside the gates he catches up with her and asks where she’s going. She says she’s doing another sweep for Negan, but when he asks if she wants company her expression isn’t one of great enthusiasm.

Out in the woods, Daryl asks if she thinks Negan crossed the border. Carol says they can’t follow him if he did. Daryl can’t imagine him wearing a mask and Carol can’t imagine him staying quiet. They stop for a moment and Carol says they’re going to stay there and see what they see. Daryl says that Negan isn’t going to stick around waiting to be spotted and he knows they’re not there for him. She admits that she wants to find the horde so that they can find it and destroy it.

Cue the credits, here we go!

Dante is helping his latest patient, whom he teases about wanting to be sick so as to have a reason to go see him. She’s not convinced. He’s laying on the charm in a good natured way, but Cheryl says she’s “break him like a twig.” Siddiq comes in and asks how things are going. There are more cases of the stomach bug going around and it has him wondering what’s going on. He tells Siddiq to stay with Coco and enjoy their time together because kids grow up so fast.
