5 WTF moments from The Walking Dead episode 1006

4. The adventures of Beta and Negan!
This was by far the highlight of the episode for me! I laughed until I had tears in my eyes. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Ryan Hurst absolutely nailed these scenes and everything about them was perfect down to the song choice in their special montage.
Beta is a person who likely only trusts Alpha, so when anyone new comes into the picture he is automatically extremely judgmental and cautious. Needless to say, when loudmouthed Negan shows up he is more Beta than ever! I mentioned last week that the look he gave Negan when he found him was an emotion we hadn’t seen, this week it was amplified!
We got to see Beta and Negan have a contest over who is the more macho character and the montage was perfect in its own WTF kind of way. My favorite scene by far was watching them both skin the walkers. Negan put his small piece over a branch, then Beta comes in and puts a huge piece down, making Negan adjust his piece to look bigger. Only Negan folks!
Another reason this makes my list is because of how Beta treats Negan and he just takes it. Negan is full of sass and will always speak his mind, even imprisoned in Alexandria I don’t think he was treated this bad. Yet Beta throws him to the ground and he just takes it. No doubt he has some plan going on inside his head as he is watching every move made in the group.
Seeing the big bad Negan be thrown around and treated like garbage was still fun to watch. I’m saying that as a fan of Negan as well. I think the mistreatment goes both ways. Him never shutting up and trying to get in the group against Beta’s wishes gets under Beta’s skin just as much and it was hilarious to see their dynamic.
