3. Alpha sniffs Negan?!

Remember those amplified emotions I mentioned Beta had in moment 4 of my list? Here they are! Beta cannot stand Negan or anything he is about. So much so he creates a situation he thinks Negan cannot get out of and leaves him for dead. He returns to Alpha with the news, happy enough he thinks it’s settled, then Betas world comes crashing down.

The look on Beta’s face when Negan shows back up being louder and more vulgar than ever was just priceless. I honestly do not think I have ever seen a character more shocked, disgusted and offended an all my life. For it to be coming from Beta just makes it more hilarious.

We get to see Negan kneel to someone, something I don’t think many fans expected to happen, and then pledge himself to Alpha. It certainly gets weirder though, because she then proceeds to sniff him. While I know Alpha is one messed up individual, she never ceases to amaze me with the next thing she does.

In some ways, like the sniffing, she truly acts animalistic and it’s insanely intriguing and bizarre to watch all at the same time. Honestly, a great way to end the episode as well. It sets the tone for what will come out of the story next. I believe sniffing him was a weird way to measure him up.

I don’t think Alpha is intimidated in the least by Negan I think she is very interested in him and who he is and what information she can extract from him. The only people we have seen speak with her are people who have some sort of boundaries with her, so I think in the future their conversations will be fun to watch.
