The Good Stuff!
Trying to be helpful. Siddiq giving the residents of Alexandria more of the contaminated water when they are sick isn’t a good thing, but he doesn’t know any better. He was so gentle and caring about the way he was helping everyone that it was hard to watch him do it.
Coming out of her cage and she’s doing just fine. It’s about time Lydia get out of that cell and face the Alexandrians. Without Negan there to back her up, it’s going to be tough for her, but one of the best things to come out of this abduction was returning her to the population. And, of course, staying with Carol is a good start.
The cat is out of the bag. Alpha’s lie about killing Lydia has been exposed, at least to the people of Alexandria. The Whisperer may not have survived to return to his people and deliver the news, but it’s something the survivors now know they can use against Alpha and her followers.
Rosita with the save! It’s possible that Siddiq may have drowned during his jump in the water in Alexandria if not for Rosita jumping in to save him. Siddiq’s trauma is a lot of him to handle, but he knows he has the support of those around him. Even then, it’s going to be tough for him to work through his pain.
Lydia standing up for herself. NOBODY wants to see Carol get hurt but seeing Lydia stand up for herself after being used as a tool against the Whisperers had to feel good to see. She is finally starting to become her own person, and not just be whoever others want her to be. However, she does need to realize that being alone isn’t the answer either.
