3. Siddiq recounts the barn events!

This was something I struggled watching and I’m sure I was not alone. We didn’t have to see every detail of every person for it to be sickening to watch. If anything I truly believe that seeing Siddiqs face while everything was happening was worse than seeing the event itself. We did see blood and gore, some flashes of DJ being decapitated.

Hearing Enid and seeing the look on Siddiqs face as he saw her slaughtered broke me, it’s like The Walking Dead decided they wanted to rip out my heart, stomp on it and hand me back a pile of dust. I felt so gutted. When he spoke to Rosita about everyone including Enid it was so incredibly emotional and real. I felt I was sitting alongside them listening.

Hearing him speak about how he feels he let everyone down then and now, was also heartbreaking. He was nothing but kind and helpful to everyone he crossed paths with. Throughout the show, Siddiq has managed to do some amazing things.

He was a doctor who saved many lives, and taught Enid medicine who in return also saved others as well! He made it onto the council in Alexandria and even made a beautiful child with Rosita. He was a great friend to Ezekiel when he needed it and just all-around a person you would love to have as a friend. So the see him talk about the barn and how worthless he feels while seeing so much value in him was so difficult.

Now let’s unmask number 2!
