Bold predictions for season 10 episode 8 of The Walking Dead

The big midseason finale for season 10 of The Walking Dead is on Sunday, Nov. 24. Here are some bold predictions for what will happen on the show!
Midseason finales can be huge episodes for The Walking Dead. For season 10, fans don’t have much of an idea of what to expect when the installment of the show airs on Sunday, making it both interesting and terrifying for those characters we care about most.
Speculation is at an all-time high as to what Angela Kang and the rest of the team behind AMC’s zombie survival drama has in store for Sunday, Nov. 24. But it is always fun to speculate on what is to come.
We reached out to our panel of The Walking Dead experts to find out what bold predictions they have for the season 10 midseason finale. Here is what they said!

My big prediction is that something has happened to Oceanside! While watching the sneak peek for 1008 I noticed that when Judith stumbled across new character Virgil that everyone was already up in arms and I found that quite odd. Why is everyone running around Oceanside as if a war has happened? I also noticed that Michonne seems to go off with Virgil on a boat alone and seeing as they just meet I find that odd as well. I’m thinking maybe Michonne and the crew show up to find Oceanside destroyed or abandoned and Virgil is the only one with info!

My big prediction for the midseason finale is that there will be no major character deaths in the episode. After Siddiq’s passing in the most recent episode, I think season 10A’s big death has already hit us. Similar to how episode 15 of season 9 featured major losses instead of the finale, I think the midseason finale of season 10 will be action-packed but not filled with death in the way midseason finales have been in seasons past.

I have a feeling that this midseason finale will really shake things up for Oceanside. I actually think it is possible that the community will be destroyed or that some of the characters we have come to know and love from there, such as Cyndie and Rachel, may be killed due to the Whisperer games. Once word of what happened to Siddiq makes its way to Michonne, I predict her becoming more driven to finish the Whisperers once and for all.

I think it will be action-packed but I don’t think we will another major death. Maybe this will be Michonne’s last episode. Even though we know it is coming that will still be tough. She has become such a great character and I love her relationship with her kids and it’s going to be very sad to lose her.

You want a bold prediction? Here is one that could happen. I predict that Gamma meets up with Lydia in the woods and kills her, returning to the Whisperer camp to bring Alpha her daughter’s head in secret. Alpha flips out on Gamma killing her but also making it clear to the other Whisperers that Alpha lied about killing Lydia and leaving that story with the villainous group in flux until the midseason premiere.
