The Walking Dead: Who died in season 10 episode 8?
By Adam Carlson
The big midseason finale of The Walking Dead arrived and many characters were in danger. Hopefully, your favorites made it through the entire episode alive!
Midseason finales and other major episodes of The Walking Dead are always scary times for fans of the show. All bets are off for what will happen in these episodes and anything can change the course of the series for good.
The biggest scare for viewers is that their favorite characters don’t make it out alive. Thankfully, the body count for season 10 episode 8 of the show wasn’t huge, but it did set things up for more characters to bite the bullet later.
Here is who died during the season 10 midseason finale of The Walking Dead:
- Several walkers
- Zombified Siddiq
- Dante
Walkers were all over the place in this episode, with Rosita taking out some of her aggression on them after a fight with Gabriel. Fans also got to see Eugene deliver a devastating shoulder block to a walker with a hardhat on to help protect Rosita.
Later on, walkers stumbled their way into Oceanside and the group there handled them with ease. The crew there wiped out the walkers while detaining Virgil, the stranger who saved Luke at the library.
Killed by Dante at the end of last week’s episode, and Siddiq reanimated as a walker before he could be stabbed in the head. Stumbling out of the bedroom, zombified Siddiq was about to take a bite out of his own daughter before Rosita was able to put her knife in his head.
Rosita also had a part in taking down Dante. She was able to subdue him during her checkup on Siddiq and bring him to the council for justice. After being locked up in the cell in Alexandria, Father Gabriel grabbed the key and opened the cell. He had a heart-to-heart with Dante for a few minutes before losing his mind and repeatedly stabbing him to death!
Thankfully, there was only one human death in the season 10 midseason finale of The Walking Dead. There was that scary moment with Luke and who knows what will come of that big cliffhanger (which nobody was able to hang on to), but for now, odds are that your favorite character was safe…unless you’re a real weirdo who really loved Dante.
