The Good Stuff!

  1. Explaining things. After last week, a lot of fans were confused about how Dante wouldn’t be recognized by Lydia in Alexandria. Well, thankfully the show cleared that up right off the bat by showing Alpha giving him the job and explaining that he was so new that he wouldn’t be recognized by her daughter.
  2.  Never mess with a mama bird! Fans know that Rosita is tough. From what we’ve seen in the past, she can hold her own against almost anyone. She was able to use her motherly power to not only fight off Dante but to stab zombie Siddiq in the head and then return and finish subduing the man who killed the father of her baby.
  3. Alpha’s grip is loosening on Gamma. Gamma literally threw her sister to the walkers to protect the leader of the Whisperers but after learning Alpha lied about killing Lydia, all bets seem to be off. She’s taking more interest in her nephew and negotiating with Aaron, and even giving her real name, Mary.
  4. A drive-by guardian angel. When Luke was trapped between walkers in the library, a stranger appeared out of nowhere and eliminated one of the undead to allow him the ability to protect himself. The mysterious person didn’t stick around for long, as they darted out the door and were gone before anyone could get a good look.
  5. Storytime with Gracie! It’s been a while since Gracie has had a decent scene on the show. However, watching her and Aaron talk about states, capitals, and tell some stories about what happened at some of them made for a nice diversion from punching holes in the skulls of walkers.
