Fandemic is taking on The Walking Dead with their new Atlanta event
By Renee Hansen
Fandemic just announced this week that they are branching out into what they are calling The Fandemic Dead event. This will be held in Atlanta on Oct. 23-25 and focus on The Walking Dead.
Fandemic Tour has made a major announcement this week. They are branching out into a new type of show called Fandemic Dead. By including the word dead into this title fans can hope that this will include The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and the 3rd spin-off series The Walking Dead: World Beyond, cast members, artists, podcasts, etc. This event will be held Oct. 23-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center Building in Atlanta. Tickets are on sale now with general admission starting at $35, and there are many VIP choices starting at $150.
They did a series of short videos for the first three announcements. The first announcement they released the dates, the second announcement was the location and the name of the event, and the third announcement was the first two guests. Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be there signing autographs and posing for photo ops.
See the video below from Fandemic Tour on Twitter showing the third announcement.

Chatter on social media is showing a lot of excited fans. They are excited to have a new event to meet their favorite cast members. They are also excited about the announcement of two of the major Walking Dead cast members. And, when you read the fine print you see that autograph or photo tickets are refundable if the guest has to cancel.
If you have any questions, their online FAQs have a lot of important information listed. Fandemic has hosted shows in Houston and Sacramento in the past so they are not new to the con life. If you look at their social media photos you can see that their past lists of guests have been quite diverse, their panel topics cover extremely interesting subjects, and the cosplay contest entrants are outstanding.
There hasn’t been a lot of other information released but you can be sure Undead Walking will be keeping you updated on any and all information that we can regarding this event.
