5. Did Gamma betray Alpha?

I have to admit, this is the only thing that threw me through a loop during this episode and I am still unsure of everything that happened. What we know for sure is that Gamma did go meet back up with Aaron and discuss a plan with him, however, it is now left unclear of whether she was honest or not.

She told Aaron that the baby rescued from Hilltop was her nephew and that she wanted to see him because that was her only family left. Gamma even revealed her face to him and her name, which was Mary. She says she will give him any information he wants and she tells him where the horde is being kept.

However, this possibly was all a ruse! It now appears there is a chance Gamma lead them to Alpha so they could be trapped. There is also a chance that Alpha now does not trust Gamma and knows she is betraying the group. This storyline, while I know it will be cleared up, left me kind of dizzy!

This also goes on my list for one more reason. I’m into a vast amount of character types, nobody is off the table for me to like. I appreciate villains for who they are and what they bring to the table. Most of the time I prefer them because they tend to be more theatrical ad entertaining, but of course, most fans go for the “good guys.” Nothing wrong with that.

The added reason that this is on my list is that I’m seeing more and more people sympathize with Gamma. I see social media buzzing with if she is just a good person doing messed up things and if she is okay to actually see her nephew or even join the survivors in the future. It certainly makes for interesting storytelling!

Let’s all put on our life jackets for number 4!
