Is Ezekiel’s Illness a Secret?

Episodes 7 and 8 laid a heavy blow to poor Ezekiel’s (possible) thyroid cancer storyline with the death of not one but two doctors in quick succession. As far as we know Siddiq is the only one who was aware of Ezekiel’s thyroid issue, so with his demise does that mean Ezekiel’s secret will remain just that?

Of course, his thyroid isn’t the only secret he’s hiding, as it’s likely only Michonne knows of his suicidal thoughts. As she is now off in the great blue yonder, poor Ezekiel appears to be carrying all his heavy secrets on his own.

However, a shot in the 10B trailer of Carol and Ezekiel in a bedroom suggests maybe he’s going to open up to his ex-wife about his health worries, but given the estranged nature of their relationship perhaps it’s not as simple as that?

Having been on a knife’s edge for some time due to losing the Kingdom, his marriage and his son, and now seemingly his only hope of medical treatment, will we see him finding another high ledge, or will he find a reason to keep on fighting?
