13. Snow White

Before I just totally tear this character apart with my questions, I want to give some credit. Snow White is one of the original princesses of Disney. She is beautiful, sweet and caring. Purity is a word I think of when it comes to her, she seems to be on the younger side and enjoys nature. With the way, she was raised, and a murder attempt on her life via her stepmother, she must have understandably been horrified.

I haven’t seen this movie in quite a long time, however, the visuals of her running through the forest terrified at every turn are ingrained in my mind from childhood. However, so are her iffy choices. On the judgment scale, she is nearly as low as one can get.

She took an apple, from a strange woman, and ate it. I can’t wrap my mind around this one. Even her little animal’s friends are warning her this is a bad woman. Now of course for its time, it’s more understandable as this movie was made in the 1930s and this is a time when food from strangers was much more acceptable. The Walking Dead is set in more current time and I can see her being trampled by the Governor if she didn’t faint at the sight of a walker.

There isn’t even a question of if she can fight, no she can’t. She might be able to run away, but that can only give you so much time. Nobody is going to go that long without having to face a walker. So, unfortunately, she would be walker bait quickly. If all magic is taken from her story, it makes no difference. While I can give some points to her as I would love one of the pies she baked, ultimately Snow White is simply not built for an apocalypse like on The Walking Dead.
