Which Star Wars characters would these The Walking Dead favorites be?

Hershel Greene and Yoda
A wise sage who helps guide the protagonist of the story is a character archetype as old as time, and The Walking Dead and Star Wars both have strong examples of it.
The Walking Dead‘s version of the wise sage is Hershel Greene. Whenever characters seemed to be losing themselves from dealing with the apocalypse for so long, Hershel was there to help guide them back to the right path. When Glenn felt like he wasn’t going to make it after a flu breakout at the prison, Hershel was the one who urged him not to give up, ultimately saving his future son-in-law’s life. Rick constantly went to Hershel for guidance, be it about how to raise his son in such a messed up world or how to cope with the pressure of leading a group that he never asked to lead in the first place. Hershel was always there for people no matter what, from his willingness to save Carl’s life without even knowing him to his very last hopeful plea to the Governor that the two warring groups can still live in peace.
Yoda played a similar role to Hershel in terms of how he was a constant presence that people came to for advice. In his early days, Yoda would speak with Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Mace Windu to help them deal with situations that were troubling them. While that guidance was important, his most important teachings came at the end of his life with Luke Skywalker. When Luke needed to learn the ways of the Jedi, Yoda was the one who taught him valuable lessons that Luke carried with him until the end of his own life. Even after his death, Yoda remained a presence in Luke’s life as a Force ghost, guiding the Jedi on how to cope with failure and loss.
Without Hershel and Yoda, important heroes like Rick and Luke would have lost their way countless times. Even after their passing, the two wise mentors made an important impact on those they left behind.
