8. Sally

The next addition to my list comes from The Nightmare Before Christmas! This is a story mainly about Jack Skellington, however, as I mentioned in the first explanations of my list sometimes main characters have some amazing people supporting them and Sally is most definitely the perfect example of that.

Jack Skellington certainly has more power than anyone in Halloween Town, the evil Oogie Boogie man is even frightened by him. However, that power in the movie is abused. Jack doesn’t think about the consequences of his own actions and nearly ruins Christmas. Sally is there the entire time with a level head about everything going on and just gets ignored.

Sally is witty and though held back and emotionally abused by her creator, she is very strong and always tries to do the right thing. The reason why I would choose a character like her to be on my side over Jack is that almost anyone can become stronger and learn how to fight. However, you can know exactly how to fight and have such terrible judgment that you get yourself or others killed.

Also in a case like this Sally isn’t a normal human and would not be scared of walkers at all. So some fear that a normal human would have is gone, and without a doubt, she could overcome the rest. She also has knowledge of herbs and sewing that could come in handy as well, welcome to the team Sally!
