5. Buddy Hall

Deck the Halls is a hilarious comedy about a man named Steve Finch who is well-known in his town for being the go-to Christmas guy. He has several years of trees all planted and ready. All of his ducks are definitely in a row when it comes to Christmas, he is confident and wants every celebration to be the best. Then Buddy Hall comes to town and smashes his perfect bubble.

It’s important to say that in this movie both Steve and Buddy lose their way and forget what Christmas is really all about. Their families have to leave before they understand. Not before they start an all-out war with each other! (no pun intended) One that it seems Buddy is winning more often than not.

Buddy is very creative and has dreams. If applied in The Walking Dead, he might make some magic happen. His goal was to have his Christmas lights be seen from outer space. Because of all the lights, he was using, he had to monitor power and often rig new ways it could work.

Knowing anything electrical could be of vital importance in the apocalypse. If he would work so hard to have lights be seen from outer space, then he would certainly help work to get lights and power restored to all of our communities. At the end of the movie, after he has learned his classic Christmas lesson, I know he would also fight off walkers to keep his new friends and family safe.
