50 States of Fright will bring horror to Quibi in 2020 and the Sam Raimi project has enlisted Fear the Walking Dead star Danay Garcia for an episode.

Cast members from The Walking Dead universe can show up in some of the most unexpected places, and soon the Quibi streaming service will have a survivor from the zombie apocalypse on their streaming service.

According to Bloody Disgusting, a horror series titled 50 States of Fright will be available on Quibi in 2020 and will feature stories from several regions of the USA. Not only that, but an actress from Fear the Walking Dead will be part of one episode.

The report states that Danay Garcia, known for her role as Luciana Galvez on AMC’s companion zombie series and Sophia Lugo on Prison Break, will be part of an episode titled “Santaria” which will tell a horror story based on Florida.

50 States of Fright should continue to draw more amazing cast members thanks to a strong base established by horror legend Sam Raimi (The Evil Dead, Drag Me To Hell, Ash vs. Evil Dead) who is at the helm of the project. Already committed to the project are Christina Ricci, Ron Livingston, Victoria Justice, Rachel Brosnahan, and many others, which should help to make each episode of the series star-studded affairs.

Bloody Disgusting adds that stories from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon and Washington will be tackled in the show’s first season on Quibi as they tackle some of the biggest urban legends each of those states have to offer.

If Danay Garcia can bring the same sort of fierceness to 50 States of Fright as she has done since her arrival on Fear the Walking Dead, Quibi might become a must-have streaming service for those who love horror.
