Clementine from Telltale’s The Walking Dead games receives praise

Over the years, fans got to love Clementine since her introduction in The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game but TheGamer sees her as a badass heroine.
Video games have a rich history. Over the years, iconic characters have been created for gamers to go on emotional journeys with and become attached to. One of those iconic characters is Clementine from Telltale’s The Walking Dead games.
Those who played through the series have seen Clementine do amazing things as well as suffer massive heartbreak. It’s not surprising to see the evolution of the character appeal to so many people over the years.
However, it was a real honor to see TheGamer release their list Ranking The 10 Most Badass Heroines In Video Games and see Clementine among some of the absolute legends in gaming history.
Clementine landed in the seventh spot on the countdown, placing her ahead of gaming royalty like Samus Aran from Metroid and Jill Valentine from Resident Evil. What makes Clem so special? TheGamer put it quite well:
"“Time and time again, Clementine displays capabilities that surpass that of an average person. She defeats the countless zombies that exist in The Walking Dead. Not only is Clementine strong for her age, but she also has a great deal of maturity. She is wise beyond her years, and her friends wouldn’t have made it far if it weren’t for her support.”"
A fierce fighter and loyal friend, Clementine is the personification of a survivor you would want by your side in a zombie apocalypse. She makes the tough decisions, fights with the best of them, and is still sensitive enough to handle situations delicately if need be.
The list includes more of the top female characters in gaming near the top. Lara Croft took the crown for the most badass heroine in gaming, but there were some other surprises on the list fans of gaming will want to check out.
