The second episode from season 2 of The Walking Dead put the survivors in dire situations as they did everything they could for two young survivors.

Season 2 episode 2 of The Walking Dead titled “Bloodletting” aired on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 and continued the story of Carol’s missing daughter Sophia and Rick’s son Carl being shot by a hunter.

Even without the zombie apocalypse surrounding those issues, the threat of death was apparent. Two young survivors had the entire group on edge and a new settlement of people seemingly want to help them in their efforts.

Episode 202 of The Walking Dead showed that Carl needed a lot of medical help to get back on his feet and the survivors could use a lot of manpower to search for Sophia. But did everyone make it out of the episode alive? Here is who died.

  • No people died! Yay!

Thankfully, every human in the show survived this episode. Sure, T-Dog got a big cut on his arm and the supply run by Shane and Otis left them in a lot of danger, but nobody ended up dead during this installment of the series.

What was nice was how some great characters were introduced. Fans of the show will know this as the first appearance of the Greene family, which includes Herschel, Maggie, and Beth along with Otis, Patricia, Nelly, and Jimmy.

Even more interesting is how the Greene family seems to believe there will be a cure or vaccine that will eliminate the undead, giving some kind of hope that those who turned won’t always be flesh-eating monsters.
