The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln spent some time at the Cotswold Range practicing his weapons skills and getting ready to kill walkers again.
The Walking Dead fans are still waiting anxious for the Rick Grimes movies to get underway but in the meantime it seems that Andrew Lincoln is keeping his walker killing skills sharp.
He visited the Cotswold Range and spent some time practicing archery and shooting and also posed for some photos.
He must have been successful since they mentioned that “The range has been cleared of zombies.” Good to know that when he returns to the US to play the iconic Rick Grimes he will be ready to jump right back into character and start killing walkers. If only his aim had been as good against the Saviors as it was against the zombies at the Cotswold Range…
Jokes aside it’s great to see Andrew Lincoln with weapons in hand again. Even though The Walking Dead has had one of the best seasons in a long time in season 10 Rick Grimes has been hugely missed and his legacy hangs over the show. Danai Gurira has done a wonderful job keeping Rick in everyone’s minds and fans are very hopeful that there will be a Richonne reunion in the feature films that are coming up centered on Rick Grimes and what happened to him after the helicopter rescued him.
The Rick Grimes Films
In a recent interview with EW Scott Gimple talked about the first film based on Rick Grimes that is still being developed. The film will have a theatrical release only and is turning out to be a much bigger project than was initially anticipated. Bigger scope means a bigger budget, so it should be very exciting to see what The Walking Dead team can do with a big budget and a feature film length running time.
The first film will finally give fans some answers about what happened to a nearly dead Rick after he was rescued by the helicopter and where he has been for all the years since as well as what could have stopped him from leaving to try and make his way home. It’s hard to imagine any circumstances that would keep Rick from trying to get back to Michonne.
