Who died in season 2 episode 8 of The Walking Dead?

The scenery shifted to a bar for season 2 episode 8 of The Walking Dead for “Nebraska” where a showdown got intense for Rick, Glenn, and Hershel.

There were some truly iconic episodes during season 2 of The Walking Dead and one of those came on Feb. 12, 2012 when an episode titled “Nebraska” aired on AMC and kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

Upset by the clearing of walkers from the barn Hershel took to the local watering hole to drown his sorrows and try to finally accept that his friends and family will never be brought back from their zombified form and a funeral was held for those who turned.

Thankfully, Hershel wasn’t hard to track down. Rick and Glenn made their way to The Carriage Bar and found the Greene family patron having some drinks alone. They discussed the events that happened but soon found themselves face to face with some strangers.

Death did happen in this episode, and it came with some a nice one-liner just like in all the best action movies. Here is who died in episode 208 of The Walking Dead:

Rick Grimes was merciless in this episode. Unwilling to give out any information about where their settlement is and any details about the area, Tony and Dave quickly grew tired of the games and started getting a bit more forceful with their questions. It became obvious they were either after the land or the resources.

When the standoff got to its boiling point, Rick didn’t hesitate to shoot Dave in the head and follow it up with two shots to Tony’s chest, finishing him off with a shot to the head as the episode came to a close.

It did seem like Rick was doing everything he could to persuade the two to go somewhere else. He made it clear that their settlement wasn’t an option and even said that he hears Nebraska is nice after Tony and Dave say they are heading there because of a low population with a high concentration of guns.

Dave and Tony should have listened to Rick Grimes. If they had, they might still be alive to this day.

Now, the question of whether or not there would be any fallout from killing Dave and Tony has to be addressed. But, since season 2 episode 8 of The Walking Dead ended, that would have to wait until the next installment of the show.
