Richard Sherman

Richard Sherman seems to share a lot of traits with one of The Walking Dead‘s most iconic villains: Negan.

Both men are proven leaders, whether you approve of the way they go about it or not. Negan preferred to use his charisma to his advantage while holding complete domination over people. Sherman has a similar amount of honesty to him, as he will say what is on his mind when most would hold back.

But, at the end of the day, both Sherman and Negan are smart guys who know how to influence the people they lead. Sherman, a graduate of Stanford University, has used his smarts to maintain his impressive performance level even as he approaches the latter part of his career. Rather than sprint around the field like he used to when he was younger, Sherman has adjusted his game to suit his strengths.

This kind of forward-thinking would be extremely valuable to a community in the zombie apocalypse, as Sherman could help make decisions with the future in mind, not just the present. People would feel safe under Sherman’s guidance, even if he may be prone to the occasional emotional outburst.
