Romance has played a key role in the story of The Walking Dead for its entire ten season history. There are plenty of romantic duos throughout the show’s run, but which ones are the best?
The Walking Dead has been one of the most-watched shows on television for the past decade, and the intriguing characters are a huge reason for that. Season 9 and 10 have been a return to form for the show, as character interaction once again feels natural and earned.
When the stakes are as high as they are in a zombie apocalypse, characters tend to latch onto one another. Be it little flings or star-crossed love stories, plenty of the show’s best characters have been in relationships at one point or another.
Fans tend to get attached to these couples too, as many will “ship” certain characters with one another, whether they are in a relationship at the time or not. Without a doubt, romance is an interesting story mechanic that often gets fans invested in characters more than they would be otherwise.
