Some of the other names on the “Characters to worry about” list include Jerry, Earl, Connie, Rosita, Luke, Gabriel, Dianne, Yumiko and Aaron.

With such a massive cast and only sixteen episodes per season, sometimes it feels like death comes to The Walking Dead to keep the size of the cast manageable. As it is, there are some seasons where we go for several episodes in a row without seeing some actors.

Heading into the mid-season premiere, Jerry, Aaron and Connie are trapped in the cave and things aren’t looking good for them. Will they make it out alive?

On the other hand, it’s a safe bet that Carol, Daryl, Michonne and Judith are safe. With Danai Gurira’s departure from the show, it’s more likely that Michonne will remain alive so that she can appear in the Rick Grimes movies. While no one wants to lose Judith, there’s a 50/50 chance that she could leave with Michonne. (Fans will riot if something happens to Judith)

We also have to think that Daryl and Carol are safe because Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride’s contracts run for two more years. (We hope this means that Dog is safe, too, because if Dog dies there will be trouble)
