The Walking Dead returns on Sunday night but you can watch the opening minutes of the midseason premiere “Squeeze” now.

The Walking Dead has been on hiatus for what feels like a very long time. The wait to see if the survivors can survive Alpha’s horde and being trapped in the cave is nearly over though. The midseason premiere is this Sunday and you can now watch the opening minutes of “Squeeze” on Facebook.

The anticipation for the start of The Walking Dead season 10B is almost as high as the stakes for the survivors. They’ve never been trapped like this before, and it’s going to take all their skills and some luck for them to safely get out of this situation.

After the reveal in season 10A that Dante was a spy planted in Alexandria by Alpha the survivors are starting to realize that Alpha is a lot more devious and cunning than they ever imagined. They’re going to have to think outside the box to combat her psychological warfare while also making sure that they can defeat her Whisperer army and the army of the dead that they control.

Judging by the first few minutes of The Walking Dead midseason premiere the back half of season 10 is going to deliver some creepy situations that will test the survivors mentally as well as physically. Do they have what it takes to withstand Alpha’s onslaught? If anyone can beat her it’s Team Family. It may well be the case that the strong bonds these survivors have are the only things that can defeat a cult figure like Alpha.

What’s Coming In 10B

The Walking Dead midseason premiere is the start of an exciting year for The Walking Dead fans. In season 10B the Whisperer War will presumably wrap up and a new story arc will start to emerge including the arrival of a major figure from the comics, Princess, who will be played by Paola Lazaro. Eugene’s relationship with Stephanie will continue and could be the start of the next big storyline.

Inevitably some characters won’t survive the final battle against the Whisperers, and Michonne will be exiting the show too which will be a hard loss for TWD fans. How Michonne will be written out is making fans anxious as they hope the character won’t be killed off but will instead find a clue that Rick Grimes is alive and go off to find him.

Maggie will also return in some capacity in season 10B, although it remains to be seen how Maggie will be written back into the story and how long she will stay. Hopefully she will have baby Hershel, who really isn’t a baby anymore, with her so that fans will get to see Glenn’s son grow up.

Season 10B of The Walking Dead also kicks off nearly a full year of new TWD content. When The Walking Dead season 10 ends The Walking Dead World Beyond will premiere, and after World Beyond the next season of Fear The Walking Dead will kick off.
