Growing up while being bullied is a terrible experience but Jeffrey Dean Morgan from The Walking Dead wants kids to know that things will get better.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is known for playing the former leader of the Saviors named Negan on The Walking Dead but there is a warm and caring individual inside the actor who portrays such a tough survivor.

Recently, a viral video surfaced of a nine-year-old child talking about committing suicide due to being bullied while his mother begged for help. Hearing the young, disabled child utter the words “I want to die” is heartbreaking and the disturbing video caught the attention of Morgan.

On Twitter, Jeffrey Dean Morgan replied to the posting of the video with some heartfelt words for the child as well as some advice on growing up in a world with bullies. Here is that tweet:

The kind words of Morgan are those of both consolation and concern. He wanted to remind the kid that he does have people who care. He added that he wants the young man to consider him to be his friend and know that there is a world of people out there who could be friends that he just hasn’t met yet.

Morgan offers to start a conversation with the mother through a DM, most likely to arrange some kind of meeting between the actor and the nine-year-old.

A video like this hits Jeffrey Dean Morgan extra hard since he is the parent of a nine-year-old. He knows that kids can be horrible but that life can also get much better if he hangs in there. Seeing the pain in his eyes as he talks about this issue shows how much a topic like this and seeing this video hurts, and it’s amazing to see the megastar reach out to this family.
