The Walking Dead cast members to attend GalaxyCon in Richmond

GalaxyCon in Richmond is hosting several members of The Walking Dead cast during the event February 28-March 1.

Fans of The Walking Dead will be happy to know that GalaxyCon will feature four cast members from our favorite show. The event will be held February 28-March 1 in Richmond, Virginia at Greater Richmond Convention Center. They like to refer to themselves as a festival of fandom, stating that there is so much more to their event than your usual comic con.

The Walking Dead cast members that are currently listed to be in attendance are Cooper Andrews, Jon Bernthal, Nadia Hilker, and Michael Rooker.

Andrews plays King Ezekiel’s lovable cobbler eating right hand man, Jerry. Bernthal played Rick Grimes hot-headed best friend, Shane Walsh. Hilker plays Magna who is the leader of group of survivors that have joined the Hilltop colony. And, who can forget Michael Rooker who played the unlovable half of the Dixon brothers, Merle.

GalaxyCon has everything you would expect from a con and more, including photo ops with their huge list of guests from all different kinds of fandoms, live cosplay wrestling, costume contests, and a variety of panels. Around 300 unique artists and exhibitors will be on hand so you can shop for all your collectibles. Single day passes start at $30 and weekend passes start at $85.

There are many cosplay panels to choose from. And there are also costume contests you can enter, from runway costumes to hero and villains costumes and even a kids costume contest.

The Walking Dead cast members are offering duo and quad photo ops. You can choose from Hilker and Andrews as a duo or go for the quad photo shoot and get Rooker, Bernthal, Andrews and Hilker. Each one of these cast members also have individual photo shoot options as well. On Saturday Bernthal will have a Q and A panel and Andrews and Hilker will have dual Q and A as well. Rooker will have a panel called Michael Rooker VS the audience on Sunday.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday February 23rd for the season 10 mid-season premiere on AMC.
