3. A tight squeeze

When the title of this episode was revealed to be “Squeeze” and Jerry was one of the survivors trapped in the cave, it got my mind moving. As a big guy myself, maneuvering through tight places can be a big problem and doing so in a place with little wiggle room and a lack of oxygen can be a real problem.

It’s one thing for a claustrophobic Carol to make her way through, but having walkers literally nipping at Jerry’s heels while struggling to remove gear in order to hopefully make it through a gap barely large enough to fit your body has to be one of the most terrifying experiences for a character yet.

Not being able to see the threats behind you while being focused on a completely different task with an audience of your friends watching nervously has to hugely stressful but Jerry handled it well, keeping composed and focused on his task.

As someone who really enjoys having Jerry on the show for both comic relief and his powerful fighting style, it’s awesome to see him escape that tight situation and be able to continue surviving for at least another day.
