The Walking Dead season 10 so far has been a force to be reckoned with and this mid-season premiere was no different. Let’s take a look at the top 5 shocking moments.

Season 10 of The Walking Dead has brought everything truly horrifying about the apocalypse to the spotlight. Paranoia, terrifying villains, walkers, manipulation, anything you can think of that makes for heart-pounding television. This week we add claustrophobia into the mix!

Most of this episode had a clear focus on what happened since a group was lured into a trap by Alpha. Since the midseason hiatus began, there has been a lot of information shifting our focus as viewers to make us think someone from the cave group wouldn’t be leaving the cave. With the fate of two characters now up in the air, the stakes are higher than ever.

As always we have to give some love to my one honorable mention before hopping into the truly shocking moments: Gamma. When she, Beta and Alpha were having a conversation and she wasn’t wearing her mask, her facial expressions were so telling. So incredibly telling that I actually laughed to myself when I saw her making them.

It was so obvious she was the mole that I was genuinely surprised that the fact that Beta and Alpha didn’t notice when they are normally so good at reading people. So while this wasn’t a huge WTF moment in terms of shock or disbelief it is worth mentioning because if they had noticed it would have saved viewer’s eyes from a moment we will chat about later on my list.

Number 5 is not a singular moment but just an overall theme of the episode, so let’s dive into why it made my list!
