1. Freaky Deaky!

Before I even jump into this shocking event, I first want to address The Walking Dead fandom as a whole. We can argue about ships and characters we hate all day long, but at the end of the day whether or not we agree with each other, we are fans and we are in this together.

On social media, after I saw this episode, I saw people who had the audacity to body shame the actors. You are the people who do not belong in this fandom and can see your way out, The Walking Dead does not need your view, goodbye. By a landslide body-shamers certainly take the WTF cake this week but you guys aren’t good enough to take #1 you can stay at ZERO.

That aside, Negan and Alpha take this spot for a couple of reasons. One big one that normally dictates the top spot is the shock factor, and I can certainly say, never in a million years did I ever think this would be a scene I watched on The Walking Dead. Much like Negan, I genuinely thought this would be either his death or a weird ritual. So to see this offer to Negan, I was gobsmacked.

Second and the biggest reason, Alpha kept her skin mask on! What?! Now I know in the apocalypse, that there is going to be some level of cleanliness you are going to have to overlook when wanting some freaky deaky time if you don’t have a shower. However, wearing a dead person’s face should be a clear line that people do not cross.

This does create an interesting bond going forward. Will there be some sort of weird connection between Alpha and Negan? We do see Negan using a switch on Alpha, which is normally something Beta would do. So will we see a big showdown with Negan and Beta? I’m excited to see what this scene creates in the future!
