7. Oscar Martinez

It was hard trying to figure out where Oscar would fit in the world of The Walking Dead. He doesn’t seem like he would be much of a threat when he’s sitting at his desk in the accounting department but there is more to him than that.

Oscar goes to the gym. He bikes, he can ice skake, enjoys trivia, and loves lively debates. His affinity for politics and rational thought makes him a great choice to be the leader of a community or at least an advisor to someone who needs help making tough decisions.

He will be bound to get on people’s nerves due to his constant corrections and questions, but someone does have to be part of the “Coalition for Reason” in a community to make sure things don’t get too out of hand.

Being able to fight is still a bit of a question, but he could be a valuable asset in the role of someone like Aaron, who needs to be mobile and be able to escape situations while being diplomatic and searching out those who could be helpful in building for the future.
