5. Meredith Palmer

Dwight was absolutely right. In the event of an apocalypse, Meredith would likely be able to do anything and everything to survive despite horrible conditions because she has endured some pretty tough situations in her everyday life.

Her normal living conditions are rough, so losing creature comforts wouldn’t be too bad. She isn’t too picky about what she eats or drinks, so that’s easy. Plus, she’s comfortable in her own skin and capable of doing what is asked.

As long as Michael isn’t there to hit her with his car, Meredith wouldn’t blink twice at most situations that put regular people in a panic. This kind of temperament would make her a great ally to have, especially if part of a group trading supplies for…say…a steak dinner.

Growing up with a child like Jake has prepared her for the worst. She’s tough emotionally and knows who she is, but the question of how she would fare in a fight is what keeps her in the middle of the pack on this list.
