6) The cave Whisperers are the sixth through eleventh Whisperers we’ve seen die this season, and the ninth through eleventh Whisperers who’ve died in this season overall. I’m adding Dante to this tally, whom I forgot last week. He was the fifth Whisperer (Eighth overall) and sixth named character we’ve seen die this season.

7) While Daryl and Carol’s team tries to escape the cave, Negan interrupts Alpha at the Whisperers’ latrine ditch near the edge of their camp. This is one of the few times any group has addressed their bathroom situation (As well as the sanitation concerns surrounding that) in either Walking Dead show.

8) Negan telling Alpha the he’s “been where you are right now” is a reference to either Dwight, or Eugene…or Simon during Season Eight. Which one? Take your pick, honestly.

9) Why, exactly, was Alpha so bothered by Negan’s suggestion that Gamma was a spy? Because of the weird surrogate mother-daughter relationship between her and Gamma? Or…because she fears Negan may be right?

10) Were the walkers deep within the cave (The ones that nearly got Jerry) some of Alpha’s horde that followed them, or, were they people who’d gotten trapped in the cave at some point, and died there?

11) How does Jerry know so much about dynamite? Was he an explosives expert or a pyrotechnician before the outbreak, and, it just never came up before?
