BEST: Trading information

Gamma finally understanding that killing her own sister and losing her nephew was just the tip of the iceberg of how life is with the Whisperers. Learning Alpha’s lie about Lydia made that click in her head and a decision was finally made to do something about it.

Coming to Alexandria to trade the information about the survivors in the cave for a chance to see her nephew makes sense. However, it was also understandable that Gabriel, Rosita, and the other survivors would be hesitant to believe what she has to say.

After some interrogation in the holding cell where Negan and another Whisperer was held, Gamma told the absolute truth about what happened and gained their trust. After being released, she did just what she said she would do: make them a map and give them details on the cave and the route.

If Gamma goes back to the Whisperers now, Alpha won’t be kind. She almost has to hope that either Alexandria or Hilltop will take her in. But after seeing what the group did to Lydia, accepting Gamma might not be the easiest thing for them to do.

Still, Gamma becoming Mary once again would be best for her in order to survive and be with what family is left. Hopefully, she makes it to the Hilltop and gets that opportunity.
