TWD Family, Assemble: Help Brandon Davis help Nashville tornado victims
TWD Family, it’s time to come together to support Brandon Davis and his quest to raise funds to help victims of the deadly tornadoes in Nashville.
When a fellow member of The Walking Dead Family needs help, we boot and rally. Brandon Davis is raising money to help Nashville tornado victims and you can help him on his mission. Davis is one of the OGs of The Walking Dead fan community, bringing fans the inside scoop for ComicBook. He’s also a member of the Nashville community and he needs our help.
The deadly tornadoes moved through Nashville and neighboring communities including the hard-hit community of Putnam, Tennessee, on Tuesday night, catching many people unaware and leaving utter destruction in its wake. As of this writing, 24 people have lost their lives and at least 20 people are still missing.
Davis, one of the most well-known faces among The Walking Dead community and the pop culture community at large, is raising funds to help tornado victims. He pledges to either donate the money to local charities who are working on the ground, or he will buy supplies to help victims directly.
In this emotional video, Davis asks for help raising funds to support tornado victims:
Anyone who would like to help Davis can contribute to his Go Fund Me page.
With so much chaos in the aftermath of natural disasters, a growing number of people have been taking relief efforts into their own hands to ensure that supplies reach people in need directly. Real Housewives of New York’s Bethenny Frankel started her own grassroots rescue group that sets out to offer aid and assistance directly to natural disaster victims, and her efforts have made a huge difference.
Remember, TWD Family, we’re all in this together. In addition to Davis’ fundraiser, you can also donate to the local Red Cross or other rescue groups who are working tirelessly to help tornado victims.
