1) When Alpha requests that Negan whip her with a switch, Negan hesitates, a reminder of his general disdain for hurting women, something we learned back in Season Seven’s “Service”, where he lamented Maggie’s death (Or what he believed was her death, at the time).

2) As the Whisperers “chant” (For lack of a better term) “We will take them all“, Negan says nothing, foreshadowing his attempt to convince Alpha to get the communities to join the Whisperers, rather than destroy them.

3) If Stephanie could see the satellite (Which Eugene estimates puts her location within a hundred miles of the communities), where, exactly, does that put her? Yes, she arranges to meet Eugene in Charleston, West Virginia, but, she could be anywhere from southeastern New Jersey or Pennsylvania, all the way to Charlottesville.

4) Negan suggesting to Alpha not killing the communities is a resurfacing of his “People are a resource” ideology, which characterized his leadership of the Saviors in Seasons Seven and Eight.

5) Felix and Penny are the ninth and tenth named characters to die this season, respectively.

6) The use of a roadblock to prevent Daryl from getting the kids to Oceanside is the same sort of tactic Negan used to corral Rick’s group during his debut appearance, in the Season Six finale, “Last Day On Earth”.
