7) This episode gets its name from Beta’s last words to Mary as he kills her: “You. Will. Walk. With. Us.

8) That said, during the battle inside Hilltop, Mary tries to warn Lydia not to go back out onto the battlefield because, as she puts it “You know what Alpha wants”. Lydia answers this warning with “I’ll never walk with her” so, that may have something to do with this episode’s title, too.

9) Mary is the eleventh named character to die this season.

10) The curious Whisperer Beta kills after killing Mary is (approximately) the twenty-third Whisperer we’ve seen die and the twenty-sixth overall.

11) The curious Whisperer recognizing Beta is the first (or perhaps second, if you count Ryan Hurst singing “The Turtle And The Monkey” back in the season’s fifth episode “What It Always Is”) hint of Beta’s celebrity status in-universe.

12) Beta trying to warn the curious Whisperer to be quiet is the first time we’ve seen him use the classic “Shh” signal which we’ve seen Alpha do, most notably when see accepted Negan into the Whisperers.
