3) Be decisive.

Now, let me start by saying that, if you make an obviously bad decision, by all means, change course. There’s no point in carrying on with a bad decision simply because you made it.

That being said, generally, I think it’s important that, when you make a decision in a zombie apocalypse, you stick with it, and let me tell you why.

I believe it’s dangerous for a person to constantly be second-guessing themselves and their decisions; It makes them tentative about their next move, because they’ve spent so much time questioning the previous one.

This very problem is why it’s so important to think carefully before making decisions. I know you don’t always have the time to do so, but, in times where you do and fail to, if that decision goes bad, the next time around, it leaves you in doubt. Over time, that doubt grows, eventually leaving you paralyzed, too afraid to go one way or the other because of your second-guessing, and eventually, forcing you into taking a course of action you may not have wanted, because whatever problem you were trying to address, inevitably, arrived.

So, my advice is: Whenever possible, think carefully about what you’re going to do, and, once you’ve chosen a course of action, stick to it, and not allow doubt to fester in your mind.
