Who died in season 10 episode 14 of The Walking Dead?

Which characters didn’t make it out of season 10 episode 14 of AMC’s The Walking Dead titled “Look at the Flowers” alive?
After taking a look at what was happening with Michonne during last week’s episode of The Walking Dead, the show shifted back to what was happening with the Whisperers and the search for more survivors outside the known communities.
The Mar. 29, 2020 episode showed how different the Whisperers and Beta would be without Alpha there to keep them in line. Plus, a team was formed to meet Stephanie and the new community at a location past Pittsburgh.
Not everyone made it out of the episode alive. There were some losses along the way and they came on multiple occasions. Here is the list of those who passed away in “Look at the Flowers” on Sunday:
- Rufus
- One horse
- Three unnamed Whisperers
- Several walkers
A total of four Whisperers died in this episode with the most notable being Rufus. Upon learning of the death of Alpha by seeing her severed head, he proclaimed that Beta would become the top dog within their group. That enraged Beta, who then forced Rufus’ face next to Alpha’s mouth to “listen” to her, but instead was bitten. Later, his coughing would become an annoyance to Beta, who shoved the blade of his knife through the back of Rufus’ head.
The other three Whisperers were involved with Negan. Since he killed Alpha, by rule he becomes the new leader and he used that power to get Alpha’s shotgun and save Daryl from the group of the flesh-masked survivors.
Seeing a horse die is something fans of The Walking Dead always hate to see. This was Ezekiel’s horse he was using to ride to the meeting place with Eugene and Yumiko. The wounded animal was put down to put it out of its misery and later he would ride with Yumiko on her horse.

Thankfully, none of the protagonists of the show were killed in episode 1014 of The Walking Dead. However, with two more episodes left in season 10, there is still time for another major death to happen before the season’s end.
