2. Beta’s new face

The Walking Dead brought their television show to the next level when Ryan Hurst and Samantha Morton were cast as lead Whisperers. 1014 was a perfect example of the talent they both have. Ryan Hurst brings so much to this character that sometimes whenever he is engulfed in the scene he brings viewers right beside him. This episode was pivotal for Beta and from the moment he saw Alpha’s head on the pike fans could feel the energy coming through their television screens.

While it is very safe to assume that this news wouldn’t be taken well by Beta, no fans expected the ending to this episode. There was also the question of if Beta would be able to go on without Alpha. Alpha is the person who made Beta who he is. When she accidentally put down his walker best friend he was nearly inconsolable, she was the only one able to push him through. Without her coming into his story there is no telling what his life would be like now.

Beta talking to Alpha’s head was very weird, but not shocking in the least. He is a very disturbed individual. Most fans on social media agreed in thinking that he would keep her head with him. Just continuing to carry it around in the bag or even put her head on a stick and still have her leading the war.

However, he was able to put her head down. When looking through his eyes, this would be the hardest thing he ever had to do. He loves her, and he doesn’t ever want to kill guardians no matter the form. After putting her down, he ripped off the portion he sowed back after the tussle with Mary. Then he reemerged from the building with a part of her forever. The most chillingly powerful moment to place on a WTF list yet!
