4. The exploded horse head

Last week’s WTF list saw another horse die on The Walking Dead. This week, the show managed to one-up themselves by showing a decapitated horse head. Clearly, AMC saw fans struggle with this death and kicked them when they were down with episode 1015. Since only the exploded bits were shown and not the actual death, that must be okay, right? What a cruel and sick joke!

Animal deaths are something that never get easier no matter how much fans see them. The Walking Dead is also not a documentary, so none of these deaths are real. Yet time and time again these are the deaths that get to viewers the most. This moment, however, is likely one of the most disturbing animal moments fans have ever seen from this show!

Part of what made the horse death in 1014 so saddening was King Ezekiel having to put down the animal. He was already mentally exhausted from everything he had been through and now he had to do this awful deed. This week in 1015 while he did get back to more of his old self, seeing a dead horse can rip out anyone’s heart.

This number hits all the WTF boxes for the list, shocking, disgusting and horrifying to see. The only good part that comes out of this is future impact. That might seem silly, but since the horses are now all dead that means no more horse deaths in the finale! …..Right AMC?
