Despite the fact she’s been missing for half the season, Connie still managed to make a huge impact in season 10 of The Walking Dead.

After finding their feet in season 9, Magna’s group were truly part of the TWD family in season 10 with Connie making a particular impression with fans thanks to her warm personality and amazing role in representing the Deaf community.

Sadly, she vanished from our screens in episode 9, when the dynamite Carol placed to destroy Alpha’s horde caused a cave-in before Magna and Connie could escape the underground trap the group had found themselves in. Magna made it home safely to Hilltop, but Connie’s fate is still unknown.

Yet, in those 9 episodes Connie has some epic and moving moments. Let’s have a look at her top 5!

5. It’s my fault

In episode 5,  “What It Always Is”, when Kelly goes missing on a hunting trip, of course Connie immediately wants to go after her and Daryl shows his loyalty and friendship in ensuring she doesn’t go alone.

During the search for Kelly, we see Connie lose her confidence and begin to exhibit self-doubt. She blames herself and thinks she shouldn’t have let Kelly go alone. It’s such a rarity to see from Connie, who always seems to be totally in control and self-assured, but shows that Kelly is everything to her and keeping her safe is always her number one goal.

Thankfully, Daryl is able to tell her a legendary Merle tale that lifts her spirits, shows Connie she’s an amazing sister and gives her the confidence to go on. But in that moment we saw a vulnerable Connie who really needed her new friend Daryl, and he was there for her with just the right mix of sincerity and humor.
